Yesterday, I started listening to Sri.Velukkudi Krishnan swamigal's Perumal Thirumozhi upanyasan. Ever since, I read it last year,I wanted to know the full meaning of it through my sath guru.

He told that the first thaniyan in Thamizh for Perumal Thirumozhi (kulasekara azhwar) was authored by Bhagavat Ramanujar. It was very rare of Him to have rendered something in Thamizh.

In addition, the second thaniyan was authored my Sri Manakkal Nambi whose works are rather unknown till date.

அது என்னவொ தெரியவில்லை, பாசுரங்களை படிக்கும்போது விளங்காதது, கிருஷ்ணன் சுவாமிகள் சொல்லும்போது மிக துல்லியமாக விளங்குகிறது. அப்போது, இத்தனை நாள் ஏன் இதை படிக்காமல் தவறினோம் என்று தோன்றுகிறது.

ஏன் இன்னும் ஸ்ரீரங்கத்தில் போய் வசிக்கவில்லை என்றும் ஏக்கம் வருகிறது.

I was reading Perumal Thirumozhi by Kulasekara Azhwar. Two days ago, I read the 7th chapter starting with "ஆலை நீள் கரும்பு ... "

In these 10 pasurams, Kulasekara Azhwar imagines how Devakai would have felt when she realized she had missed enjoying all the childhood pleasures of her son Kannan and how Yasodhai was blessed and she was unfortunate.

I wish these 10 pasurams be read by every couple who either postpone their first kid or altogether decided not to have children.
