Information about Melkote (Thirunarayanapuram).
It is located between Bangalore and Mysore, near Pandavapura. It is about 51 km from Mysore and 133 km from Bangalore. The travel time is shorter if you start from Mysore.

Mandayam Srivaishnava Sabha has set up a Pilgrim Assistance Centre at Melkote for the benefit of Pilgrims who visit Melkote who need comfortable accommodation for overnight stay. The Centre is situated half way up the road leading to Yoga Narasimhaswamy Temple on the Hill and is less than a Km from the Bus Stop.
The Centre has well furnished and comfortable rooms with attached Batm Rooms with running cold and hot water. In order to provide uninterrupted power, solar lighting and fans have been provided in the building. The building is strategically located and commands an excellent view of the valley.
The rooms can be booked in advance by intimation to Mandayam Sabha Office (Tel: 080-41127295) at Yathiraja Mutt along with room maintenance charges. The payments can also be made by crediting to our A/c at State Bank of Mysore , Melkote (A/c. No. 64097256136) and informing payment details.
The Tariff of the maintenance charges is as follows:
Double Room (2 Beds) Rs. 600/-
Large Room (4 Beds) Rs. 1000/-
Deluxe Room (2 Beds) Rs. 800/-
Dormitory Rs. 300/-
All the above charges are per day and calculated on Noon to Noon basis. Part time occupation also considered as full day.
